Goodbye Winter Wonderland

Christmas was special this year as my parents joined us for the first time ever in Arizona.  They were able to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, as they got to attend both the Bash on Bartlett 3 as well as Christmas.

Christmas Eve started with 4pm Mass.

Here we are at St. Andrew's.

Then we came home to have a Mexican meal of tamales, rice, and beans.

We each opened a gift and here is Rob with his - a mini amp that is a speaker for music.  He loved it!

The next morning started around 8am with a quick family photo,

and then opening presents.

It was an Olaf'd theme Christmas for me!

For Christmas dinner we had ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and rolls.  It was the quick and dirty version of a thanksgiving meal.  Still yummy though.

For dessert I made pizookies - a pizza cookie, topped with vanilla ice cream, eaten warm right out of the oven.

They're delicious!

We ended the evening with a few Christmas songs.

Not our finest, but we wanted to share our Christmas spirit on Christmas Day, without much practice.

Merry Christmas!
