The first competition of the winter season got underway yesterday, with Perry High School playing host. It started off rocky for Spenser, who came down with a severe headache and had to come home. After vomiting, taking ibuprofen and resting, he was back on campus at 5 pm. I'm glad he got through it enough to perform, and what a performance it was. Not happy that the migraine tendency may have been passed down to him, but he certainly was a trooper!
While Spenser was home recuperating, Sienna performed her show called, "Breathe Me."

It's a very pretty piece, yet still in development.
After her performance we went back home to check on Spenser. He surprisingly was wanting to come back; so he ate a little something, got changed, and returned to school. Here is their performance of "Going Under."
Wasn't that awesome? Seeing him upright after his episode was amazing to me, but to add that performance to it, well that just takes the cake.
I'm so glad he got to experience his first indoor drum-line performance of his high school career with all his buddies.
And YES, they took 1ST Place!
Way to go Perry! Hats off to our little Sienna and Spenser!
