Last night was Spenser and Rob's first time to Cricket Wireless Pavilion, as Sienna and I have become Cricket veterans with two of our recent concerts being held there. This time the draw was Iron Maiden, one of the most famous metal legendary bands. After entering the venue, the first order of business is buying Maiden t-shirts. It just so happens that Rob and Spenser chose the same one. Hey, great minds think alike right?
Here's a picture of me with Spenser to prove that yes, I did attend the Iron Maiden concert, although a shirt was just not necessary for me.
The opening band was Dream Theater, as pictured behind the boys.
Then the heavy weights came out, the members of Iron Maiden, fronted by the great-yet wee, Bruce Dickinson.
They are known for robotic alien/monsters that walk around during certain songs, as pictured here
Here are the boys enjoying the concert, above and below
All in all it was a great experience. The setlist didn't include many of their greatest hits, to Rob and Spenser's dismay. It was a bit too hot as well. But true musicians rock in any weather, and so should their fans.
