Make Some Noise

It's been a day since my first blog and I didn't want another to pass without an update. I must admit this one didn't come as easily as the first. Rob told me to "hurry up and post Spenser's AC/DC show", but he doesn't realize (or understand) that the posting is more than just the picture or video. It is also the story, the backdrop, and the written word; which is the hardest of all. I may be an English teacher but I've never thought of myself as much of a writer and often find it hard to find the words that express what you mean, let alone in a witty way. (See, I just used find twice!) But I digress.......

Okay, back to the theme. So when Sienna was still young and impressionable we asked her to sing (since she didn't want to play guitar anymore) a Hannah Montana song with me and my Dad (Papa), accompanying her on guitar. It was quite a lot to ask of all of us, nervous novice guitarists and a 9 year old with no singing background. But we did it! This took place at Music Lab Studios in San Luis Obispo. Here is a glimpse of what we 'laid down'.

I think the vocals sound pretty darn good, the guitarists can use some improvement though! The song is called Make Some Noise. If you enjoy/like/tolerate our noise, keep reading our blog.
