Do you remember this card from a christmas past? It's one of my favorites. These were the good ol' days when Sienna and I were taking guitar lessons and Spenser had started drums. (Rob was just holding the guitar as a prop). Back then we aspired to create a family band and treat our family and friends to the sounds of samour, hence the title of this blog. Our aspirations haven't changed - well at least for three quarters of us. Much like any rock band, rifts occur and we lost a most valuable member. Sienna stopped playing guitar and refused to share her vocal gifts with us. So, Rob has taken up some of the slack with weekly guitar lessons and practice sessions with Spenser, a.k.a awesome drummer. For him the guitar is no longer a prop. Now he can play! So the title of our blog is Samour Sounds and we hope to remain true to that theme. Look for future pictures and videos and in the words of Gene Simmons, if it's too loud, you're too old!
