It's Labor Day, and guess what we're doing? We are laboring at our music craft, trying to coax our fingers, rhythm, and vocals into remembering how to do this! We all were a bit rusty, but it felt great to be together again. I guess the only difference this time is that Rob and I both improved the quality of our instruments - he with a Gibson, and I with a Taylor. Of course it's not enough to have a quality instrument. Sadly, a talented player is also a requirement! I guess we'll just have to work harder!
We went through our "hits" and then tried out a couple new songs. Here is one under consideration for our next show.
It may not be "rosy" yet, but you just wait. We'll get those "thorns" removed.
