Yesterday Spenser turned thirteen, and this morning at 8am he experienced his first performance as lead snare with the Santan Jr. High Drumline. Those are two big events back to back!
Believe it or not he had a 5:45 am call-time at Santan to load the buses and start the trek to Peoria High School. Rob had drop-off duty and was able to capture their departure.
Rob drove to the event site to greet Spenser and the team as they waited for their performance. Then it was show time!

Having never seen Spenser play in a drum-line, this was absolutely exciting to watch! He amazes us! So proud and blessed are we!
