Tuesday night was Sienna's last concert with the Symphonic Winds of Santan Jr. High. She started the clarinet in 5th grade and graduated each year with more skill and more motivation to not only improve but to also represent her school and all the great things that music can do. She enjoys being a part of the band so much that she is willing to be in marching band in the sizzling state that we call home! That says A LOT!
I know she's in her Gryffindor robe, and no that's not the standard uniform, but they were performing the Harry Potter theme and were allowed to dress up. The fact that they were playing a Harry Potter song just tickled Sienna to no end.

That was Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." The next video had Sienna SO excited, and as you can tell from the video, me too!
Mr. Kane was actually conducting with Sienna's Hermione wand that lights up. That made it extra cool!
Two nights after that concert was their band banquet. Here's a pic of Sienna and a couple of the other clarinetists.
It was a fun night for her. She has one more performance for the Celebrations of Learning and then her season with the Symphonic Band is over. Then it's on to Perry High for Concert Band and Marching Band.
