Our two a week practices fizzled for over a week as schedules diverged and the drummer was down with a virus. However, April is quickly departing and May is swiftly starting. To ensure we stay on track with practice, we've transformed our formal living room into our practice stage and are leaving it set up until all the equipment goes in a u-haul enroute to the concert venue. Practice commenced Friday night and Saturday afternoon, and next weekend will be no different. Here's what the formal living room will look like for the next couple weeks.
Who needs furniture when the room is set to rock?
Three guitars, a bass, and a drummer. They look pretty good, but let's see what they sound like...
You can see my role in that song - photographer! I love to snap pics of my son in action. I am awestruck when he plays. His versatility, ability, and repertoire of songs are well beyond his years. That makes us mighty proud. Here are father and son rockin a song.
Sienna wasn't feeling practice today. She did one song, and unfortunately wouldn't allow it to be taped (picture my sad face). Instead she entertained the boys, which we all appreciated, especially Bobby.
The next video happens to be one of Spenser's favorite songs. If you look close, you can see him singing along a bit. Just so you know, this hasn't happened on any other song.
Only a few more practices to go, and then the show is a go!
