Country Concert Encounters

This was a crazy busy week but one filled with maximum excitement.  Between a country concert and the premiere of Breaking Dawn, I was beside myself! Lady Antebellum was in town, headlining their first 'arena' tour, albeit a small one - Grand Canyon University.  This would be my third time seeing Lady A, but this time I went with Stacy, a fellow teacher from work.  Before entering the arena, we got our picture taken with Barrel Boy, a local promoter of concerts for KNIX.  Here we are!

Our picture also made it to their website!  So far, the night was off to a great start!

When we got in the venue, we were very happy with our seats.  Here's our view from them.

The first opening act was an artist named Randy Montana. Here is his hit, "A Thousand Faces."

And here is the live version from my camera.

Randy also came out to perform a song with Lady A and Josh Kelley.  But perhaps the coolest thing of all was we got to meet him!  Oh yeah!  Here we are after the show.

Between Barrel Boy and Randy Montana, it was a meet and greet night!  Now if I can only figure out a way to snag the headliners next time!
