Santan Award Night

This week marked the end of the band season at Santan, with a jazz performance at El Zocalo, a downtown Chandler Mexican restaurant.  Here they are (Jazz Band) playing on the outside patio.

Mr. Kane even joined in on a trumpet.

On Saturday night, awards were held at Hamilton Pool, where the kids could swim, frolic, and snack on junk food.  There were student voted awards and Spenser was selected as Most Serious (of course!)

 

 

There were three big awards selected by Mr. Kane, and Spenser was the recipient of the Buddy Rich Award, for best drummer.

Just thought I'd add in this tidbit as Rob was on Horizon again this week to discuss how ADOT is addressing the issue of wrong-way drivers.
