Channel 12 hosts Turkey Tuesday every Thanksgiving as a charity drive to collect turkeys and feed the needy. Our local Basha's was selected as one of the collection sites, with live news broadcasts and entertainment to help bring in the donations. The Santan Jazz Band and Drumline were asked to perform which meant Spenser got not only some t.v. time in, but also some charity work!
Here he is leading the drumline into the evening segment on live t.v.
Here is another piece of the segment. The crazy coyote is Howler, the mascot for the Phoenix Coyotes (hockey team).
Howler was quite entertaining and even tried to engage Spenser, but I think he wasn't quite sure what to do.
In addition to drumlining, the star of the show must also JAZZ it up!

All this talk about turkeys got us ready for our own "Turkey Thursday!"
