Stormin' Pumas

Sienna and the rest of the Puma Regiment had their first game lastnight!  What a momentous occasion for the Samour family!  Sienna was beyond excited for the event which could only be a good thing.  The game was in Casa Grande, so Rob and I made the drive to check out our daughter, the regiment, and the football team.

We caught her in pre-game practice. Here are the woodwinds warming up. Sienna is the one with glasses and the long ponytail!

then it was time to take the field

and perform.

 I know it's hard to see who's who but Sienna is in the center woodwind section.  She moves forward and then to our left, up, to the right and center again.  After the show song, it was time for the Star Spangled Banner, led by their director, Brandon Kiesgen.



 

After the performance it was time to entertain the fans from the bleachers. 

You can tell the kids are having fun - especially our ponytailed girl!

I think it helped that our team was killing it - final score 65-14!

It was a good first performance! Now back to practice for improvement, fine tuning, and preparation for home games!
