Motley Crue and KISS in one concert? You've got to be kidding! Yes it is true, and we witnessed it last night, braving 110 degree temperatures because that's how dedicated our family is to rock and roll. Due to the hot temps we stayed in the air-conditioned car, hydrated up, and then went into the venue and to our seats right as the lights went out for Motley Crue to start. It was great timing!
That was their hit "Just Go Away" and the next video is what Tommy Lee is known for - playing drums upside down! Yeah, it's crazy and something we thought Spenser had to see.
The crowd was totally amped and on their feet.
Then it was time to get ready for KISS.
They always open with the awesome classic, "Detroit Rock City."
Here is Gene up in the rafters, one of his tricky antics.
Wanna see how he got up there?
Pretty cool for an old man wouldn't you say? And here is a nice close-up of Paul when he flies out into the audience to sing a song.
They are just too cool, even after all these years.
Here's a little more....
Rock history recorded, and we were there!
