First Gig

Samour Sounds just finished their first official gig!  We were asked by Spenser's band teacher, Mr. Kane, to play Santan Jr. High's Band Banquet!  The banquet happened to be at the same pavilion where Bash 4 was held, so it felt familiar to us.  The only thing that wasn't familiar was the myriad of strangers we were playing for! 

On very little practice time and with some help from Stacy and Jason Gillette, we got it done!  We held one practice the night before the show, and this time it was at Bobby's house.  Then the next morning, we packed up Stacy's truck and our two cars, and headed over to the venue around 9:30 am for set up.

 We had several people come over to us and said they enjoyed us and our sound.  That's great when it's coming from strangers, and not just your friends and family.  To top it all off, Spenser won an award too!

 

 

Mr. Kane already booked us for next year!
